Creamy Virginia Ham Cubes Sauce
Comments: Serve this sauce over really hot waffles.

  • 3 cups [750 mL] cooked Virginia Ham cubes
  • 2 cups [500 mL] medium white sauce
Medium White Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
  • 3 tablespoons [26.25 g] flour
  • 2 cups [500 mL] milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • Prepare white sauce into the top part of a double boiler.
  • Mix in cooked ham cubes.
  • Reheat over hot water, until ham cubes are really hot.
  • Serve.
Medium White Sauce
  • Melt butter into the top part of a double boiler.
  • Stir in flour, until of a smooth paste consistency.
  • Slowly stir in milk; cook until thickened.
  • Salt.
