Carrot Sticks Casserole

  • 6 medium carrots
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
  • 3/4 teaspoon [2 mL] salt
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] brown sugar or maple sugar granules
  • 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Cut carrots into thin sticks; transfer into a casserole.
  • Pour in water; salt and then sprinkle carrot sticks with brown sugar or maple sugar granules.
  • Evenly dot with butter.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for approximately 1 hour.
