- 6 medium carrots
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
- 3/4 teaspoon [2 mL] salt
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] brown sugar or maple sugar granules
- 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Cut carrots into thin sticks; transfer into a casserole.
- Pour in water; salt and then sprinkle carrot sticks with brown sugar or maple sugar granules.
- Evenly dot with butter.
- Bake into preheated oven, for approximately 1 hour.
