Creole-Style Ground Beef Casserole

  • Potato slices
  • Onion slices
  • Partially cooked rice
  • Approximately 3/4 pound [340 g] lean ground beef
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of tomato soup concentrate
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Lay some potato slices over the bottom of a medium-size oven-safe casserole.
  • Top with onion slices, then top with partially cooked rice.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Evenly top with ground beef.
  • Pour in cream of tomato soup concentrate.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 1 1/2 hours.
