Ham Bread
  • 1 1/2 pounds [680 g] ground lean smoked ham
  • 3/4 pound [340 g] ground lean pork
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] freshly made breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup [250 mL] milk
  • Flour
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Mix together ground smoked ham, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, egg and milk.
  • Shape mixture into a bread; transfer into a buttered bread pan.
  • Sprinkle mixture with just a little flour.
  • Bake into preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, until golden.
