Roquefort or Blue Cheese Salad Dressing
Comments: If desired, for a thinner salad dressing, stir in more cream or milk.

  • 2 cups [500 mL] sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon [5 g] sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] mayonnaise
  • 1/2 pound [227 g] Roquefort or Blue cheese
  • Transfer sour cream into a bowl.
  • Stir in sugar, salt, cream or milk and mayonnaise.
  • Mix well.
  • Crumble cheese; mix into sour cream mixture.
  • Refrigerate for approximately 1 hour.
  • Remove salad dressing from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving, at room temperature.
