- 2 cups [500 mL] pecan halves
- 1 [10-inch / 25-cm] pie shell
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- Vanilla, to taste
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] maple syrup

- Preheat oven to 300°F [150°C].
- Evenly arrange pecan halves into pie shell.
- Beat together eggs and sugar.
- Mix together vanilla and melted butter; stir into beaten eggs mixture.
- Mix in dark corn syrup and maple syrup.
- Pour over pecan halves, into pie shell.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 45 minutes.
