Spiced Cider
Comments: Excellent served hot, or cold.
  • 4 cups [1 L] apple cider
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] whole cloves
  • Bring apple cider to a boil.
  • Remove from heat; mix in cinnamon sticks, allspice and whole cloves.
  • Leave to rest for 4 hours.
  • Strain.
