Pork Stuffing for Turkey
Comments: This stuffing, far from being dry, is delicious.
Servings: Enough stuffing to stuff a 20-pound [9-kg] turkey.
IngredientsPreparation
  • 10 cups [2,5 L] mashed potatoes
  • 7 1/2 cups [1.875 L] fine breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/4 cups [310 mL] ground salt pork
  • 1 2/3 cups [375 g] melted butter
  • 5 onions, finely chopped
  • 5 eggs
  • 5 teaspoon [25 mL] salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon [12.5 mL] poultry seasonings
  • Pepper
  • Well mix together all ingredients except pepper.
  • Pepper lightly.
