- 1 [3-ounce / 85-g] pack sage onion stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] grated Old Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 8 ounces [227 g] beef sausage meat
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] freshly made breadcrumbs
- Generous pinch of curcuma
- Prepared mustard [to serve]

- Prepare stuffing, following directions on pack but adding only half of required water.
- Thoroughly mix together stuffing, grated cheese, beaten egg, sausage meat and half of breadcrumbs.
- Shape into 35 [approximately 1-inch / 2.5-cm] balls.
- Mix together remaining breadcrumbs and curcuma; well coat balls with mixture.
- Arrange balls all around the outside of a plate; then arrange remaining balls into circles in the center of the plate.
- Microwave for 6 to 8 minutes on 'MAXIMUM'.
- Leave to rest for 3 minutes.
- Serve hot, along with prepared mustard, as a dipper.
