- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 3/4 ounces [250 g] cream cheese
- 1 [7-ounce / 200-g] can crabmeat, drained

- Microwave together butter and chopped onion for 30 seconds.
- Mix in cream cheese; microwave for 30 seconds more.
- Thoroughly mix.
- Mix in drained crabmeat.
- Refrigerate for a few minutes to cool and get an easy to spread consistency.
- Serve, really cold.
