- 4 tablespoons [60 g] butter, or margarine
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon
- 2 cups [500 mL] unsalted dry roasted peanuts
- 2 cups [500 mL] pecan halves
- 1 cup [250 mL] Chinese rice noodles
- 1 cup [250 mL] raisins

- Spoon buter or margarine into a 12 x 8 x 2-inch [30 x 20 x 5-cm] glass baking dish.
- Heat on 'HIGH' for approximately 45 seconds, until melted.
- Stir in sugar, garlic salt and cinnamon.
- Delicately toss in unsalted dry roasted peanuts, pecan halves and rice noodles until coated with melted fat.
- Microwave on 'HIGH' for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
- Mix in raisins; microwave, still on 'HIGH', for 7 to 8 minutes, for 2 minutes.
- Leave to cool completely, stirring often.
