- 1/4 cup [60 mL] water
- 4 ounces [1/2 cup] fresh or canned whole cranberries
- 3/8 cup [94 mL] dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] malt vinegar

- Into a bowl, pour water over fresh cranberries.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Puree cranberries by pressing cranberries through a sieve.
- Mix in dark brown sugar and malt vinegar.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
