Cheese Beer Dip

IngredientsPreparation
  • 14 ounces [400 g] cheese spread or soft cream cheese, cut into small dices
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] pale beer
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] pimiento, well drained then chopped
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] chopped parsley
  • Microwave cheese on 'MEDIUM' stirring once until melted, for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Mix in beer, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once.
  • Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
  • Mix in chopped pimiento and parsley.
