- 14 ounces [400 g] cheese spread or soft cream cheese, cut into small dices
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] pale beer
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] pimiento, well drained then chopped
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] chopped parsley

- Microwave cheese on 'MEDIUM' stirring once until melted, for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Mix in beer, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring once.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
- Mix in chopped pimiento and parsley.
