- 1 [19-ounce / 540-mL] can tomatoes, with juice
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] soda cracker crumbs
- 1 teaspoon [5 g] sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] basil
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1 pound [454 g] frozen haddock fillets
- 3 green onions, finely minced
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] freshly chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons [17.5 g] flour
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] paprika

- Pour tomatoes into an 8-inch [20-cm] square glass dish; sprinkle tomatoes with soda cracker crumbs.
- Sprinkle with sugar, basil and salt.
- Mix together, using a fork.
- Arrange frozen haddock [block] over tomatoes.
- In a bowl, mix together green onions, parsley, vegetable oil, flour and paprika; pour over fish.
- Cover with waxed paper.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 8 to 10 minutes, until fish is cooked in the center.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve.
