- 1 pound [454 g] ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] milk
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] dry onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] catsup
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] soy sauce
- 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Swiss cheee

- Well mix together all ingredients; shape mixture into a round or oval olaf.
- Transfer meat loaf into a microwave safe dish.
- Cover meat loaf with waxed paper; microwave on 'HIGH' for 5 minutes.
- Turn dish and microwave for 5 minutes more.
- Drain then cover meat loaf with al foil.
- Leave to rest for 10 minutes before slicing; serve.
