- About 2 cups [500 ml] of macaroni
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups [375 to 00 ml] medium Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup [250 ml] cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup [125 ml] sour cream
- 3 slices of pepper ham, cubed
- Salt and pepper
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Parsley, chopped
- Butter

- Cook macaroni.
- Drain and set aside.
- Mix together cheddar and cottage cheese in small bowl.
- Grease a square mold [8 inches / 20 cm]; place in it half the macaroni, spread half the cheese mixture and add half the ham.
- Repeat with remaining macaroni, cheese and ham.
- In a bowl, mix together sour cream, salt, pepper, green onions and parsley.
- Spread over macaroni and scatter knobs of butter on top.
- Cook in microwave 8 to 10 minutes, uncovered, on high [time and power for a 750 watt oven].
