How to Thaw Chicks into a Microwave Oven

| Ingredients | Preparation |
- Find thawing time: 9 to 12 minutes per pound [454 g].
- Unwrap and thaw 1 chick at a time.
- Place chick, breast side-up, onto a rectangular plate; cover with wax paper.
- Microwave on 'DEFROST' for half of required thawing time.
- Turn chick breast side down; move chick.
- Protect the tips of the wings and the ends of the thighs with small pieces of al foil; half turn plate.
- Cover with wax paper and microwave for the remainder of required thawing time.
- Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
