Lazy Rice

  • 1 cup [250 mL] long grain rice
  • 1 pack dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] soy sauce
  • 1 cup [250 mL] cut-up mixed vegetables [fresh or frozen]
  • 2 cups [500 mL] water
  • Into a microwave-safe dish, mix together all ingredients.
  • Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 10 to 15 minutes, until done.
