- 1 pound [454 g] cabbage, finely minced
- 8 ounces [227 g] zucchini, grated
- 3 or 4 small peeled carrots, grated
- 1 onion, chopped
Salad Dressing
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] celery seeds
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Into a glass salad bowl, mix together minced cabbage, grated zucchini, grated carrots and chopped onion; set aside.
- Prepare salad dressing.
- Pour hot salad dressing all over mixed vegetables.
- Thoroughly mix and refrigerate, until cold.
- Serve.
Salad Dressing
- Into a microwave-safe bowl, mix together sugar, vinegar and celery seeds; salt and pepper.
- Microwave mixture for 1 1/2 minutes on 'MAXIMUM' to dissolve sugar, until hot.
