Thin White Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
  • 1 tablespoon [8.75 g] flour
  • 1 cup [250 mL] milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Microwave butter for 30 to 40 seconds on 'HIGH', until melted.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Slowly whip in milk.
  • Microwave for 3 minutes on 'MEDIUM', stirring every minute.
