- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- 1 tablespoon [8.75 g] flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Microwave butter for 30 to 40 seconds on 'HIGH', until melted.
- Stir in flour.
- Slowly whip in milk.
- Microwave for 3 minutes on 'MEDIUM', stirring every minute.
