- 1/3 to 1/2 cup [75 to 115 g] sweet or salted butter
- 2 egg yolks
- Juice of 1 small lemon
- Salt, to taste

- Arrange butter into a small microwave-safe casserole or a 2-cup [500-mL] measuring cup.
- Microwave for 1 minute on 'MEDIUM-HIGH'.
- Whip in egg yolks and lemon juice.
- Microwave for 20 seconds on 'MEDIUM-HIGH'; whip
- If needed, microwave on 'MEDIUM-HIGH' for 20 seconds more, until creamy.
- Whip, salt and serve.
