- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- 4 green onions, minced
- 1 cup [250 mL] white wine or
2/3 cup [160 mL] white Vermouth
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups [500 mL] brown sauce

- Arrange butter and green onions into a dish, microwave for 2 minutes on 'HIGH'.
- Mix well; pour in white wine or Vermouth and microwave for 3 minutes on 'HIGH'.
- Stir; microwave for 2 minutes more on 'HIGH', until almost completely reduced.
- Stir in brown sauce; microwave for 2 minutes on 'MEDIUM'.
- Stir well and serve.
