Devil's Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 1 cup [250 mL] white wine or
    2/3 cup [160 mL] white Vermouth
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups [500 mL] brown sauce
  • Arrange butter and green onions into a dish, microwave for 2 minutes on 'HIGH'.
  • Mix well; pour in white wine or Vermouth and microwave for 3 minutes on 'HIGH'.
  • Stir; microwave for 2 minutes more on 'HIGH', until almost completely reduced.
  • Stir in brown sauce; microwave for 2 minutes on 'MEDIUM'.
  • Stir well and serve.
