- 1/4 cup [60 g] butter or margarine
- 2 medium-size potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] diced or minced carrot
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 pound [454 g] fresh or frozen haddock
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] water
- 2 [5-ounce / 142-g each] cans clams, with juice
- 1 pound [454 g] scallops, halved
- 1 pound [454 g] small shrimps [optional]
- 1 cup [250 mL] light cream
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] curry powder [optional]
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Into an 8-cup [2-L] bowl, melt butter or margarine on 'HIGH', for 1 minute.
- Well mix in potatoes, carrot and onion.
- Pour in water; cover and microwave on 'MEDIUM-HIGH', for 10 minutes, stirring once, at half-time.
- Cut haddock into individual servings; add fish to vegetables, along with clams, and juice.
- Microwave on 'MEDIUM' for 6 minutes.
- Well mix in scallops, shrimps [if desired], cream, curry powder, salt and pepper.
- When almost ready to serve, cover and microwave mixture for 8 minutes, on 'MEDIUM'.
