Chocolate Spiders

  • 6 [1-ounce / 28-g each] squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup [250 mL] butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups [500 mL] chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup [250 mL] miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup [250 mL] salted peanuts
  • Melt chopped chocolate and butterscotch chips in microwave oven on 'MEDIUM' for 3 to 4 minutes; stir until smooth.
  • Delicately add chow mein noodles, marshmallows and peanuts; stir until coated.
  • Drop by spoonfuls [1 teaspoon / 5 mL] onto a baking sheet, lined with wax paper.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Store into an airtight container, refrigerated.
