- 2 cups [500 mL] brown sugar
- 1 cup [500 mL] heavy cream [35% m.s.g.]
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter or margarine
- Few drops vanilla
- A little sifted icing sugar

- Mix together, in an 8-cup [2-L] microwave-safe bowl, brown sugar, heavy cream, butter or margarine and vanilla.
- Microwave on 'HIGH' for 10 minutes, uncovered.
- Remove from oven; immediately beat with an electric mixer, sprinkling in just enough sifted icing sugar.
- Beat for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pour into a buttered mold.
- Cool completely before cutting and serving.
