- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 1 cup [250 mL] heavy cream [35%]
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] vanilla

- In an 8-cup [2-L] glass bowl, mix together sugar, brown sugar and cream.
- Microwave on 'HIGH' for 10 minutes.
- Leave to rest for 10 minutes.
- Add butter and vanilla; beat with an electric mixer until mixture just starts to set.
- Spread into a pan.
- Refrigerate until cold.
- Cut into pieces.
