- 1 tablespoon [8.75 g] all-purpose flour
- 2 cups [500 mL] milk
- 1 pack dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] black pepper
- Pinch of garlic powder
- 4 cups [1 L] peeled potato slices

- Into a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt butter on 'MAXIMUM'.
- Stir in flour; microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 30 seconds.
- Whip in milk and onion soup mix.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 4 to 6 minutes, until just thickened, stirring twice.
- Stir in grated cheese, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and garlic pepper; mix in potato slices.
- Cover and microwave, on 'MAXIMUM', stirring twice, for 12 to 16 minutes until potatoes are soft.
