- 1 [1-pound / 454-g] pumpkin
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Freshly chopped parsley, to taste
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cream [15% m.s.g.]
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] dill, or to taste

- Using a sharp knife, remove peel and then cut meat into 1-inch [2.5 cm] cubes.
- Remove all seeds from pumpkin and transfer pumpkin cubes into a bowl.
- Add butter; cover bowl.
- Microwave on 'MAXIMUM' for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring twice.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside for 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle pumpkin cubes with freshly chopped parsley.
- Puree pumpkin cubes mixing in cream.
- Add dill.
- Check for seasonings before serving.
