- 1/4 carrot, peeled then finely chopped
- 1/4 ripe tomato, finely chopped
- 1 [1 1/2-inch / 4-cm] long piece zucchini, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] raisins
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] water
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] semolina
- 1 cup [250 mL] water or chicken broth

- Into a small glass bowl, mix together chopped carrot, tomato and zucchini, raisins and 2 tablespoons [30 mL] water.
- Cover bowl with a plate; microwave vegetables on 'HIGH' for 3 minutes; leave to rest, covered.
- Into a 2-cup [500-mL] bowl, melt butter or margarine on 'HIGH' for 30 seconds.
- Mix in semolina until well coated.
- Pour in water or chicken broth; microwave uncovered, still on 'HIGH' for approximately 4 to 6 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
- Drain then mix in reserved mixed vegetables before serving.
