How to Stretch Butter

Two for the price of one... to get cheap high quality butter, without any change in flavor, nor in color!
Servings:
2 pounds [1 kg]
1 pound [454 g] butter
1/2 cup - 1 teaspoon [120 mL] evaporated milk
Salt, to taste
4 or 5 drops jellow food coloring
Bring butter to room temperature for 5 to 6 hours.
Stirring, using a wooden spoon, an egg beater or an electric beater, really slowly pour evaporated milk into butter.
Salt, then color butter to taste; keep refrigerated.
