- 2 cups [500 mL] crushed boiled drained potatoes
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 3 teaspoons [15 mL] baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- Butter, to fry patties

- Beat togehter crushed potatoes, beaten egg and butter until smooth.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add dry ingredients into crushed potatoes mixture; lightly knead mixture to well mix together all ingredients.
- Transfer mixture onto a lightly floured working surface; roll mixture until 1/4-inch [6-mm] thick round.
- Heat some butter into a frypan.
- Cut potato mixture into wedges; brown into hot melted butter for approximately 5 minutes on each side.
- Serve, really hot.
