- 1 pound [454 g] ground beef
- 1 pound [454 g] ground pork
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] oats
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] onion salt
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] garlic salt
Sauce
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] vinegar
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cornstarch
- A little water

- Into a bowl, mix together f=ground beef and pork, oats, milk, onion salt and garlic salt.
- Shape mixture into balls.
- Into a casserole, bring together brown sugar, vinegar, 3/4 cup [190 mL] water, paprika and salt of sauce to a boil.
- Delicately add meatballs to sauce; leave to simmer slowly, until well-done.
- Dilute cornstarch into a little water; delicately stir into meatballs mixture.
- Stir until thickened, before serving.
