Sweet Pie Dough
- 2 cups [280 g] flour
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1/2 cup [115 g] shortening
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] icy water or 7-Up
Meatpie Dough
- 2 cups [280 g] flour
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1/4 cup [60 g] shortening
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] icy water

- Mix together flour and salt.
- Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
- Dampen mixture with icy water, or 7-Up.
- Shape dough into a ball; refrigerate until ready to roll dough.
