An excellent vanila fudge.
If desired, for a chocolate fudge, ad 1/4 cup [60 mL] chocolate chips to hot mixture, along with icing sugar and butter.

| Ingredients | Preparation |
- 3 ounces [90 mL] evaporated milk
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 2 cups [500 mL] icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
|
- Bring evaporated milk and brown sugar to a boil.
- Leave to boil for 5 minutes, after having seen the first bubbles on top of mixture.
- Remove from heat; mix in icing sugar and butter, stirring until really well combined.
- Pour mixture into a mold; leave to cool completely, then cut vanilla fudge into squares.
