- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 1 or 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup [250 mL] buttermilk
- Butter

- Beat together flour, beaten eggs and buttermilk.
- Melt a little butter into a frypan.
- Pour in just a little dough; moving frypan, well coat bottom of frypan with dough.
- Cook until golden, flip pancake over and brown on other side, unitl golden.
- Slice pancake onto a plate; keep pancake warm.
- Repeat with remaining dough, adding a little more butter whenever needed.
