- 3 cups [420 g] flour
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
- 2 cups [500 mL] milk
Syrup
- 1 pound [454 g] brown sugar
- 2 cups [500 mL] water
- 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter, melted

- Preheat oven to 300°F [150°C].
- Into a bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cut butter into mixture before pouring in milk.
- Pour dough a buttered pudding mold.
- Mix togehter all syrup ingredients [brown sugar, water and melted butter]; pour syrup all over dough.
- Bake pudding into preheated oven, for 50 to 55 minutes.
