Vanilla Fudge

Comments: When vanilla fudge is overcooked, just reheat vanilla fudge mixing in 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cream or milk.
  • 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
  • 1 cup [200 g] sugar
  • 6 ounces [190 mL] evaporated milk
  • 1 knob butter
  • Into a casserole, mix together brown sugar, sugar and evaporated milk.
  • Bring mixture to a boil; leave to simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring.
  • Remove from heat; stir in butter, until thickening.
  • Pour mixture into a mold; leave to cool completely, before cutting.
