- 8 ounces [227 g] almond powder
- 1/3 cup [75 g] sugar
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] sifted icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] almond extract

- Mix togehter almond powder, sugar and sifted icing sugar.
- Into a clean bowl, beat together egg, melted butter and almond extract.
- Well mix egg mixture into almond powder mixture, until really well combined.
- Refrigerate almond paste until really cold, before using.
