- 6 ounces [190 mL] evaporated milk
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 2 cups [500 mL] icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter

- Bring together evaporated milk and brwn sugar to a boil.
- Leave to boil for exactely 5 minutes after seeing the first bubbles appear on top of mixture.
- Remove from heat; mix in icing sugar and butter, until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a buttered dish; leave to harden, before cutting into squares.
