Spicy Pork Chops

  • 8 pork chops
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
Spicy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] paprika
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] chili powder
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] catsup
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] water
  • Into a bowl, mix together all spicy sauce ingredients [vinegar, Tabasco sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, catsup and water]; set aside.
  • Into a large frypan, brown together pork chops on both sides with chopped onions.
  • Pour reserved spicy sauce into frypan.
  • Leave to simmer slowly, until pork chops are well-done.
