French Fries - Not for Toddlers ?
Comments: Never serve deep-fried potatoes to toddlers, serve them oven-fried potatoes!
If desired, use sweet potatoes which contain more vitamins 'A', instead of white potatoes.

  • 2 or 3 potatoes, each cut into quarters, into 8 segments or into fries
  • Approximately 1 teaspoon [5 g] melted butter per potato
  • Grated Parmesan cheese [optional]
  • Chopped parsely [optional]
  • Vegetable non-stick spray
  • Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
  • If desired, peel potatoes keeping in mind that potato peel contains lots of nutritious substances, then cut potatoes.
  • Arrange potato pieces into a bowl and stir in melted butter, or, to avoid having a bowl to clean, brush potato pieces with melted butter using a pastry brush.
  • If desired, sprinkle potato pieces with a little grated Parmesan cheese or chopped parsley... delicious!
  • Arrange potato pieces onto a baking sheet, already sprayed with non-stick spray.
  • Brown potato pieces into preheated oven for 20 minutes, until golden.
