Cantaloupe Yogurt for Toddlers
Comments: For a change, use pineapple, honeydew melon or papaya instead of cantaloupe.
Sprinkle yogurt with crushed or chopped nuts [if not allergic], or sprinkle yogurt with lemon or orange juice.
Kids just love these 'natural bowl'; if shells roll and do not stay in place, simply cut a fine slice underneath each wedge.

  • 1/2 cantaloupe
  • 1 cup [250 mL] plain yogurt
  • Half cantaloupe, lengthwise or widhtwise; remove seeds.
  • Using a special round spoon, scoop-out tiny balls cantaloupe meat reserving peel intact as it will be used as serving bowl.
  • Arrange balls into reserved peel, along with plain yogurt.
  • For more flavor and most possible nutritive substances, serve immediately.
