Health Cereals for Toddlers
Comments: To vary, replace kiwi with a banana; it is also possible to add yogurt instead of cottage cheese.
As bananas contain iron but few vitamins 'C', serve these cereals along with an orange or any other fruit juice which contains lots of vitamins 'C'.
In this recipe, do not forget that vitamins 'C' and iron work together; kiwi contains vitamins 'C' and wheat germs contain iron.
  • 1 kiwi
  • Cottage cheese
  • Wheat germs
  • Maple syrup
  • 1 or 2 pinch[es] brewer's yeast [optional]
  • Peel then finely dice or crush kiwi using a fork.
  • Mix in cottage cheese, wheat germs and maple syrup.
  • For more nutritive substances, stir in brewer's yeast as its sour taste will be hidden with the sweet taste of kiwi and maple syrup.
