- Any really ripe fruits such as apples, peaches, or prunes, ...

- Peel and, if necessary stone or seed fruits.
- Cut fruits into small pieces.
- Transfer fruit pieces into a casserole, and pour in enough water to cover all the pieces.
- Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer slowly until soft, for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
- Drain fruits reserving cooking juices if desired, to puree the fruits until smooth to taste.
- If puree is too strong or too acid for baby, mix in a little banana or papaya puree.
