- 5 ounces [142 g] ground surlonge beef or turkey
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] fine breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] grated onion
- 4 tablespoons [60 mL] water
- Hint of salt [optional]
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vegetable oil

- Into a bowl, well mix together ground beef or turkey, fine breadcrumbs, grated onion, water and, if desired, salt.
- Shape mixture into 1-inch [2.5-cm] meatballs.
- Over low heat, heat vegetable oil into a frypan.
- Brown meatballs until golden on all sides, until really well-done.
