Fruit Custard for Toddlers
Servings: 1 toddler + 1 adult
IngredientsPreparation
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] fruit puree [banana, prune, pear or peach, or a mixture of any 2 fruits]
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] vanilla extract
  • Butter [to grease cups]
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Well beat egg yolks.
  • Well mix in fruit[s] puree, milk and vanilla extract.
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Lightly butter 2 individual custard cups; evenly pour in mixture.
  • Bake into preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, until set.
  • Leave to cool completely; refrigerate until ready to serve.
