Zucchini Puree for Babies
Comments: Will keep for 6 to 8 months, frozen.
Servings: Approximately 2 to 3 cups [500 to 750 mL] puree

  • Approximately 7 unpeeled small zucchinis
  • Brushing, rinse unpeeled zucchinis under cold running water.
  • Cut zucchinis into approximately 1/2-inch [1.3-cm] dices [you should get approximately 3 cups / 750 mL zucchini dices].
  • Steam zucchini dices for 10 to 12 minutes, until soft.
  • Leave to cool slightly, drain then transfer half of zucchini dices into a blender.
  • Puree until smooth.
  • Repeat with remaining zucchini dices.
  • Spoon into 2 ice cube trays, and freeze.
