- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespons [30 g] sugar
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
- 6 slices of bread
- Butter
- Maple syrup or any desired homemade jam

- Well beat together eggs, sugar and milk into a large bowl.
- Dip each slice of bread into mixture.
- Fry slices of bread, a few at a time into a hot buttered frypan over camp fire turning once, until golden on both sides.
- Serve French toasts coated with maple syrup, or along with homemade jam.
