Cupcakes in Oranges [camp fire]
Servings: 10 to 12 cup cakes

  • 1 [18-ounce / 510-g] box white or yellow cake mix
  • 10 to 12 oranges
  • Prepare cake mix following packaging directions.
  • Cut and remove top 1/3rd of each orange; set aside.
  • Using a small spoon, spoon out orange meat leaving skins empty.
  • Half fill each orange with prepared cake mix.
  • Cover with reserved orange tops.
  • Individaully wrap each orange into a 6-inch [15-cm] square piece al foil.
  • Transfer upright into warm charcoals, for 10 to 15 minutes.
