Campers' Apples [camp fire]
Comments: If desired, evenly arrange apple slices onto as many as needed individual pieces al foil; evenly dot with butter then evenly sprinkle apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Tightly wrap into al foil before heating over hot charcoals to soften apple slices, until really hot.
Servings: 2 1/2 cups [625 mL]
  • 12 apples, cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] butter
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] cinnamon
  • Well mix together all ingredients into a large frypan.
  • Cook over hot charcoals for approximately 15 minutes, until apple slices are soft, stirring from time to time.
